FUTUREUM

Objevte unikátní a udržitelně revitalizo-

vanou národní kulturní památku. FUTU-

REUM vzniklo přeměnou bývalého vý-

klopníku a mlýnice uhlí v areálu Dolních

Vítkovic. Objekty FUTUREA jsou pro

zájemce o industriální památky a širokou

veřejnost zpřístupněny prostřednictvím

kombinace expozic, prohlídkového okru-

hu, výstav, přednášek, workshopů a dal-

ších akcí. Jedná se o úspěšnou proměnu

industriální památky na otevřené kulturní

centrum, které propojuje historii unikátní-

ho místa se současností i budoucností.

FUTUREUM

Discover the unique and sustainably

reconstructed national cultural

monument. FUTUREUM was created

through the transformation of a former

tipper and coal grinder in the Dolní

Vítkovice area. All FUTUREA structures

contain various exhibitions, sightseeing

tours, lectures, workshops and other

events for visitors. It is an example

of the successful transformation

of an industrial monument into an open

cultural centre which blends the history

of the unique setting with the present

and future.

The Karlovice Scythe House (Kosárna)

Kosárna Karlovice recently opened

a new smithy exhibition. In the past,

scythes and other metal tools were made

here. The exhibition includes a model

of the hammer mill which was used

at the structure for ironworking. You

will also ﬁnd a forge and bellows among

the exhibits. The historic structure is not

the only attraction in the area though,

as the national cultural monument is

surrounded by beautiful scenery and

Kosárna Karlovice

Na Kosárně v Karlovicích můžete navštívit

novou expozici kovárny. Kdysi se tady vyrá-

běly kosy a drobné kovové nástroje. Součástí

expozice je i interaktivní model hamru, který

se zde v minulosti nacházel a sloužil k výro-

bě a opracovávání železa. Uvidíte tady nejen

kovářskou výheň, ale třeba i kovářský měch.

Navštivte historické venkovské stavení a ne-

chte se okouzlit klidem a nádhernou příro-

dou areálu národní kulturní památky. V rámci

workshopu pletení košíků z pedigu si vyzkou-

šíte svou zručnost, šikovnost i trpělivost. Od-

měnou vám bude vlastnoručně vyrobený

suvenýr, který si odnesete na památku domů.
