Events
Černá Louka is a place where people meet and new ideas are born. It oers versale spaces for a wide
range of events, from exhibions and trade shows to conferences and corporate events. In an interview
with Sales Director Miriam Lehocká, you’ll learn about the advantages of this unique venue, including
its modern equipment, strategic locaon in the city centre, and support for event promoon. You’ll also
discover Černá Louka’s future plans to remain an aracve place for organisers and visitors alike.
How would you introduce Černá Louka to someone
hearing about it for the first time?
Černá Louka is at the heart of Ostrava’s activities.
We offer versatile spaces for various events, from
exhibitions and conferences to social gatherings. It is
located in the city centre, just minutes from Masaryk
Square, with ample parking and easy access by public
transport, on foot, or by bike.
What do you consider to be Černá Louka’s biggest
strength?
Our flexibility, equipment, location, and excellent
relationships with clients and suppliers. We offer
over 6,600 m² of indoor space and three hectares of
outdoor areas. We have a modern conference hall with
a capacity of up to 100 seats, barrier-free access, and
air conditioning. We also provide a variety of technical
solutions, such as LED screens, projectors, stages, and
conference furniture.
What kinds of events are most frequently held at
your venue?
We organise several trade shows and exhibitions
ourselves (such as Student a Job, Book Festival,
Vacation, and Beekeeping), and we also provide space
for corporate events, conferences, and trade shows,
including those with international participation. We
assist with event promotion as well, offering advertising
material placement, CLV carriers directly in front of
Pavilion A, and recently, LED screens on the building.
What are your future plans?
We plan further modernisation and expansion of our
technical equipment to meet the demanding needs of
organisers. We want Černá Louka to be a place where
unforgettable events take place and where people are
eager to return.

Miriam Lehocká
Previously worked as the Business and
Marketing Manager at Dolní Vítkovice. She is
very invested in local culture and social events.
You can find her at many of the local theatres
and concerts and she likes connecting people
that “are on the same wave.” She enjoys good
books, tourism and spending time with family
and friends.
