Modernizace a inovace jsou v naší DNA, což potvr-
zuje i název Innomotics – inovace v pohybu. V Ostra-
vě máme vlastní vývojové centrum, kolegy ve vývoji
máme i na úrovni závodů. Naším cílem je nabídnout
produkty s vyšší účinností a nižší produkcí skleníko-
vých plynů. Ve Frenštátě a Mohelnici jsme letos uvedli
několik osových výšek v třídě účinnosti IE4 a také mo-
tory s permanentními magnety v třídě účinnosti IE5.
Inovujeme nejen produkty, ale i výrobu – zaměřujeme
se na digitalizaci, robotizaci a dekarbonizaci závodů.
Přináší oddělení společnosti nějaké konkrétní změny
pro vaše závody a zaměstnance?
Srdcem Innomotics je 16 výrobních závodů po celém
světě, z nichž hned 4 jsou na Moravě. V Drásově vy-
rábíme vysokonapěťové elektromotory a generátory,
v Mohelnici nízkonapěťové a převodovkové motory, a ve
Frenštátě nízkonapěťové motory pro vyšší výkony. S té-
měř 4 000 zaměstnanci jsme největší zemí v Innomotics,
a po oddělení od Siemens naše kapacity dále porostou,
například díky novým centrálním funkcím a HUBům, kte-
ré budou poskytovat služby pro celou Evropu.
Jakým způsobem spolupracujete se školami?
Spolupráce je pro nás zásadní. Máme vlastní Student
office, kde nabízíme VŠ studentům práci na reálných
projektech, na SŠ poskytujeme prospěchová stipendia
a podporujeme vybavení učeben. Právě nyní vytváří-
me vlastní Innomotics učebny na SŠ v Rožnově a ve
Frýdku-Místku. Studentům se snažíme nabídnout ne-
jen praxi během studia, ale i pracovní příležitosti po
jeho ukončení.
Podporujete veřejný život ve svém okolí?
Chceme být dobrým sousedem a aktivním členem ve
veřejném dění měst a přilehlých obcí. Kromě toho pra-
videlně pořádáme dny otevřených dveří a podporuje-
me místní komunity prostřednictvím různých iniciativ.
Jaké hlavní výzvy vidíte pro Innomotics
v nadcházejících letech?
Nejbližší výzvou je dokončení oddělení od Siemensu
a zajištění efektivity procesů. Dále budování povědomí
o značce Innomotics a vývoj nových produktů. Připra-
vujeme také novou prorůstovou strategii pod novým
vlastníkem.

Innomocs, a leading global supplier of electric motors, is celebrang its 1st anniversary in October,
yet it boasts a rich history. Roman Valný, the new CEO of Innomocs for the Czech Republic,
shared his priories in his new role, the challenges associated with the separaon from Siemens,
the company’s growth strategy, and the opportunies this transformaon brings.
Since May, you’ve become the new CEO
of the company. What are your main priorities in this
position?
There are indeed many priorities, as we are
still in the process of separating from Siemens.
The company will soon be sold. The new owner
of Innomotics will be the American company
KPS Capital Partners. We have been preparing
for full independence for a year, which involves
redistributing processes and tools that we have
shared so far.
Could you give us some insight into what
the separation of Innomotics from Siemens AG
brings? Does this change affect the company's
market position?
Siemens has been focusing on improving the
efficiency of its organisational structure for some
time, which includes the separation of certain
divisions. This has led to the emergence of smaller
companies in the market that are not bound by
the complex processes of a large corporation and
can react more flexibly to market demands. For us,
it represents a new opportunity to show what we
can achieve as an independent company.
How will you ensure that the Innomotics brand
remains synonymous with the quality and reliability
that your customers were accustomed to under
the Siemens brand?
Quality has always been our priority and
the cornerstone of all deliveries, and this
will not change under the Innomotics brand.
The manufacturing plants in Frenštát, Mohelnice,
and Drásov have a rich history and a strong market
position thanks to special products with unmatched
quality. We’ve been manufacturing motors and
generators in these plants for over a century.
