Business Finland: An Accelerator of Global Growth

An Accelerator of Global Growth Business Finland is a Finnish governmental organization for innovation funding and trade, travel and investment promotion. Business Finland‘s 600 experts work in roughly forty offices globally and in sixteen regional offices around Finland. Business Finland is part of the Team Finland network, collaborating closely with Finnish embassies, consulates and other public actors supporting Finnish companies in building their global partnerships. We create new growth by helping Finnish businesses go global and by supporting and funding Finland-based innovations. Our top experts and the latest research data enable companies to seize market opportunities and turn them into success stories. Our goal is for Finland to be the most attractive and competitive innovation environment in which companies are able to grow, change, and succeed. Business Finland was created by a merger of two organizations: Finpro, which offered services for internationalization, investments and tourism promotion, and Tekes, which offered funding for innovation activities. Combining these four major functions together into one organization is a unique approach, making Business Finland a strategic partner to Finnish and international companies. Our activities in the Czech Republic focus on attracting the attention of local companies and stakeholders to Finnish solutions, technologies and best collaboration practices.
