weather, everyone enjoyed the event. As in previous years, the race also had a charitable
dimension. A record amount of CZK 210,000 was raised for athletes with disabilies.
“The tenth edition was meant to be special – and it truly
was. Thanks to the tremendous support from the city
and our partners, we brought the highest number
of runners in the event’s history to the starting line.
The Havířov Ten has become a race with both tradition
and prestige, and today it ranks among the top running
events in the region. We want to keep raising its level
and remind everyone that Havířov is a city of athletes,”
reflected the race’s main organiser, Martin Kučera.

children who lined up for the 500-metre race. Everyone
who reached the finish line became a winner, rewarded
with a well-deserved finisher’s medal.
This year’s event attracted not only professional
runners but also amateurs and enthusiasts who came
to enjoy the sporting atmosphere and push their limits.
Another record was broken in the amount raised for
charity, which will go to the boccia athletes of the
Handicap Sport Club Moravia. Thanks to the runners,
an impressive CZK 105,000 was collected, and the
race’s main partner, Heimstaden, once again doubled
the amount.
The Havířov Ten once again proved to be a sporting
event that brings the community together and promotes
a healthy lifestyle.
RBP štafety Týmové štafety ovládl Tým Run 99 s cel-
kovým časem 0:37:43. RBP Firemní štafety vyhrál tým
SEMAjstři, kteří doběhli do cíle s časem 0:41:42.
V neposlední řadě je třeba zmínit všech 300 dětí, které
se postavily na start 500 m dlouhého běhu. Vítězem se
stal každý, kdo doběhl do cíle, kde čekala vytoužená
finisherská medaile.
Závod letos přilákal nejen profesionální běžce, ale
i amatéry a nadšence, kteří si přišli užít sportovní atmo-
sféru a překonat své limity. Rekord byl pokořen opět
ve vybrané částce, která putuje na konto boccistům
Handicap Sport Clubu Moravia. Díky běžcům se vybra-
lo neuvěřitelných 105 tisíc korun, které hlavní partner
závodu Heimstaden tradičně zdvojnásobil. Havířovská
desítka se opět ukázala jako sportovní událost, která
spojuje komunitu a podporuje zdravý životní styl.
