Voices of Meltingpot: Virtual Message

The Meltingpot international discussion forum annually introduces over 150 inspiring personalities

from numerous fields and various places of the world. The third year took place within the music

festival Colours of Ostrava in June 2018 and over 20,000 festival attendees joined in the Meltingpot

discussion.

Anyone who missed a Meltingpot guest (or all of them) live

on site, may now follow the unique insight in the inner worlds

of the personalities of the forum from the comforts of their

homes through the movie project, Voices of Meltingpot.

“We want to preserve the inspiration and energy which the

important and influential guests of the forum radiated and

delivered to the audiences on site,” said the founder and

curator of Forum Meltingpot, Ms Zlata Holušová.

The speeches are recorded by a special camera with

a one-way mirror which makes the viewers feel as if the

personality on screen is talking to them. The exceptional

feel of the videos is also appreciated by the speakers.

“Individual personalities in the videos reflect the wide

range of cultures and experiences which, like instruments

in an orchestra, work together to produce a symphony

accompanying the spirit of Voices of Meltingpot,” said Dan

Millman, author of the famous novel Way of the Peaceful

Warrior. One of the most popular interviews in the project

of Voices of Meltingpot is the speech by Mark Gungor

who said, “Thank you for making me part of the project.

Forum Meltingpot was an incredible experience to me. The

audience was amazing, longing to hear each and every

word. That is a speaker’s dream come true.” Organizers

believe that this wasn’t Mark Gungor’s last visit to Forum

Meltingpot.

The 4th year of Forum Meltingpot will take place at

Vítkovice Lower Area in Ostrava during the festival Colours

of Ostrava, July 17-20, 2019.

Voices of Mealtingpot are available for free at meltipotforum.

videos (recorded in 2018) are being published.
