The combination of 3D printing, advanced
design and software enables us to create
an entirely new generation of prosthetic aids
that are more comfortable, more functional
and preferred by both patients and doctors.
Such custom-made devices would have
been impossible to produce in the past. For
example, our ankle orthoses for children
with cerebral palsy are more breathable,
lighter and thinner, allowing children to be
more active. Our prosthetic sockets for
patients with amputations are also more
comfortable, enabling them to take more
steps without fatigue or pain.
Integration of 3D Printing, AI
and Medical Data
We combine cutting-edge digital technologies
with 30 years of clinical and technical
expertise in the field. Our system processes
hundreds of parameters – anatomy, weight,
activity level, diagnosis – and generates
manufacturing data for 3D printing a perfectly
tailored device within seconds. Each orthosis
is customised not only in shape but also, for
instance, in thickness and flexibility.
From First Idea to Fully Functional Product
The development of each product line
takes 5–10 years and involves 500–1,000
iterations of design, testing and subsequent
improvements. A multidisciplinary team
of clinicians, designers and software
developers works on every product.
The devices undergo rigorous mechanical
testing, analysis and, finally, clinical validation
with patients.

From Diagnosis to Solution Within Days
Based on the doctor’s prescription
and examination, the orthotist/prosthetist
selects the type of device, performs a 3D
scan and enters the clinical data and product
requirements into our configurator.
We manufacture the device and deliver it to
the clinician, who then fits it on the patient.
Our devices are currently available in 40
countries across 5 continents, helping tens
of thousands of patients every year.
