Service Learning is a simple method when
you match meaningful usage with the
curriculum in real life. When a Biology
lesson about nutrition turns into a food
collection for people in need, a Civics
lesson about home violence turns into
a campaign and charity run eventually,
and it deals with this problem. Or when
you look for a way to minimise waste
which is produced by humans because
you know the devastating consequences
on our planet, new bookboxes appear
in Ostrava, or you renovate furniture.
