V čem má vaše společnost náskok před
konkurencí?
Klíčovým odvětvím našich senzorů jsou
technologie pro pohon vozidel. Zku-
šenosti ze světa spalovacích motorů se
nám daří převádět do elektrifikace – ať
již hybridních, či čistě elektrických
motorů.
Jakým směrem se chcete v oblasti vývoje
ubírat?
Našim cílem je tzv. čistá mobilita, kla-
deme důraz na redukci emisí, snižování
spotřeby a dostupnost našich výrobků.
Aktuálně pracujeme na projektu roz-
šíření vývojových laboratoří, které při-
nesou řadu nových technologií i nové
pracovní příležitosti a od roku 2022
poskytneme dvojnásobnou testovací
kapacitu.
Je pro Vás důležitá spolupráce se školami?
Spolupráce se školami je pro nás vel-
mi důležitá. Aktivně spolupracuje-
me zejména s lokální Vysokou školou
báňskou – Technickou univerzitou
Ostrava (VŠB-TUO), která je pro nás důle-
žitá nejen jako klíčový zdroj zaměstnanců,
ale také z hlediska spolupráce na vývojo-
vých projektech. Jsem také rád, že se nám
loni podařilo otevřít na univerzitě akredi-
tovaný kurz Senzory v automobilovém
průmyslu, v rámci něhož naši odborníci
vyučují studenty jak na půdě univerzity,
tak i přímo ve vývojových laboratořích
společnosti.
What makes your site unique in the
context of Vitesco Technologies ČR?
Ostrava specializes in the development
of new products, meaning we support
the other plants of Vitesco Technologies
not only in the Czech Republic, but also
foreign countries. We are developing
a large portfolio of automotive sensors
for our customers. Our motto is the
complete realization of the development
cycle of a product, from its conception,
that is discussed between our business
and system departments and the
biggest automotive companies, to its
implementation on the market. We are
able to take care of the entire process
thanks to our project management,
quality control, business, mechanic,
electronic, and software and laboratory
engineering teams. Laboratories are also
part of our R&D center, they ensure not
only the characterization and validation
of functional and environmental tests,
but also the definition of new materials,
metrology, electronic testing and last,
but not least, our special lab takes care
of electromagnetic compatibility.
How is your company ahead of its
competitors?
A key branch of our sensors are technologies
for the propulsion of vehicles. We are
successfully applying our experience
from the world of combustion engines to
electrification--regardless if they are hybrid
or purely electric engines.
What path do you plan to take in the field of
development?
Our goal is so-called clean mobility: we put
emphasis on the reduction of emissions, the
lowering of consumption and the availability
of our products.
Currently, we are working on expanding
our development laboratories, which can
help us create many new technologies and
work opportunities. From 2022, the testing
capacity we provide will be doubled.
Is cooperation with schools important for
you?
Working with schools is very important for us.
We are actively cooperating mainly with the
local Technical University of Ostrava, VSB-
TUO, which is an important partner for us
not only as a key source of employees, but
also as an associate in development projects.
I am also very glad that we were able to open
an accredited course regarding sensors in the
automotive industry at the university last year.
As part of the course, our experts educate the
students not only at the university campus,
but also directly in the development labs at
the R&D center.
