Pandemie koronaviru zásadně ovlivnila průběh tohoto
roku, jaký dopad měla na provoz v závodě? Jaké změ-
ny závod nyní čekají a jaký vliv bude mít tahle neoče-
kávaná situace na budoucnost? Našel byste i nějaká
pozitiva?
V době akutních měsíců jsme se museli vypořádat nejen
s důsledky vládních opatření v boji s pandemií, ale také
s propady prodejů našich výrobků v rozmezí 40 – 70 %
proti plánu. S ohledem na naši celosvětovou působnost
a široké výrobkové portfolio se ale výroba nemohla
na delší období zcela zastavit. Aktuálně zaznamenává-
me výrazný nárůst poptávky, ale ztráty prodejů z první
poloviny roku se již nepodaří v letošním roce sanovat.
Závod se aktuálně vrací na úrovně výkonů před krizí,
ale současně musí sledovat časté změny protipandemic-
kých opatření, které mají mimo jiné vliv na dostupnost
pracovní síly jak v regionu, tak i příhraničních oblastech.
Budoucí vývoj závodu je úzce napojen na celosvětové
trendy v oblasti automobility. Zaměření závodu, jako
výrobce elektrosoučástek nejen pro konvenční pohony,
ale i pro elektrická vozidla, dává velmi dobré předpokla-
dy pro jeho další rozvoj.
Jednoznačná pozitiva vidím v zapojení našich zaměst-
nanců do řešení nastalé situace a pochopení, že cesta
z krize vede přes společnou spolupráci.
The Coronavirus pandemic significantly impacted the course
of this year. What impact did this have on the plant? What
changes are in store for the plant, and how will the unforeseen
situation affect the future? Do you think there might be some
positives?
In the most severe months, we had to deal with not only
government instructions in fighting the pandemic, but also with
lower sales values, 40-70% under the planned threshold. As
regards our global endeavors and a wide variety of products,
however, we could not fully stop our production for an extended
period of time. Currently, we are experiencing an increase in
demand, however, losses we experienced in the first half of the
year cannot be made up by the end of this year.
The plant is currently returning to pre-pandemic production
capacity, but at the same time, we need to watch legislative
changes and hygienic measures closely, as these heavily
influence the availability of manpower in not only the region,
but also areas near the borders. The plant’s future development
is closely linked to global trends in the automotive field. Its focus
on electronic parts for not only conventional fuel vehicles, but
also electric vehicles, grants the plant great prospects for the
future.
I view the involvement of our employees in resolving the current
situation and their understanding that the way to handle it is
through mutual cooperation, as a very clear positive.
